Preparation of Flower-like Nanostructured SnO2 Particles by Low-temperature Water-bath Method and Their Photocatalytic Activity

  • 摘要: 以SnCl2为锡源,乙醇为溶剂,六次甲基四胺、聚乙二醇400为辅助剂在低温水浴(60℃)中合成了花状纳米结构SnO2颗粒,由纳米片组装成球形,直径约4 ?m,研究结果表明其形成与PEG 400 的加入密切相关.这种纳米结构具有优良的光催化性能,使SnO2颗粒在汞灯和氙灯照射下有效降解甲基橙,其活性高于P25.
    Abstract: Flower-like SnO2 nanostructures have been successfully prepared by a water-bath heating method using SnCl2 as the starting materials. Analysis of the formation of lower-like nanostructure indicated the role of PEG400 in the process. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange (MO) under UV light and xenon lamp, which shows that the prepared flower-like nano-SnO2 can be used as a high effective photocatalyst.
