This paper reported two fluorescence probes: dansyl-glutamic acid (DEA) and dimethyl-dansyl-glutamic acid (DE). The fluorescent emissions of fluorescence probes increase with the addition of bovine serum albumin (BSA) in the solutions of DEA and DE. The complexs of DEA/BSA and DE/BSA show specific selectivity for Hg2+ in aqueous solution with blue-shift of fluorescence peak and intensity change.
