The scale structure, functional structure and spatial structure of urban system in Jiangxi Province have been analyzed, and some suggestions and countermeasures to optimize the urban system in Jiangxi Province have put forward: to increase the urbanization level and perfect the scale structure; to highlight the major advantages and construct the efficient functional structure; to adjust the spatial structure and develop the urban concentrated region in Midnorth District of Jiangxi Province.
