The Value, Theory and Suggestion Concerning Blue Carbon Development Against the Background of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality

  • The problem of confusing blue carbon and marine carbon sink is analyzed, and the relevant research progress on blue carbon is summarized with the CiteSpace software. The ecosystem service function of blue carbon is expounded, and a theoretical analysis of blue carbon development is made from the perspective of ecology, management and economics. Three suggestions are put forward on how to better develop blue carbon, including strengthening theoretical research and technological innovation, accelerating collaborative governance, and deepening the cultivation of market-oriented mechanisms.
