Light-dependent regulation of carotenoid biosynthesis and accumulation in plant

The results from our research group indicated that the total pepper carotenoids and its color angle depended on the wave length of LED light. The results will help to reveal the signal pathway of light mediated carotenoid metabolism in pepper fruits, and will make it possible to enhance earlier harvested pepper fruit accumulated more carotenoid after treating with LED light controlled by human.?
