Advance in metal modification of mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 for catalytic ozonation

Researches in catalytic ozonation in recent years and characteristics of mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 were introduced. Based on the merits and defects of MCM-41 applied in catalytic ozonation, different metal-modification methods for MCM-41 to remove persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and the variety of metals used were reviewed in detail. In the end, future focus and development of metal-modified MCM-41 were proposed.
