THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAP PROTEIN AND STRESS TOLERANCE IN PLANTS

  • 摘要: 植物在非生物逆境胁迫下会产生多种诱导蛋白以适应胁迫环境,其中SAP蛋白(Stress Associated Protein) 因其抗非生物胁迫的能力逐渐受到广泛关注.该文介绍SAP家族基因和蛋白的特性、分类以及SAP基因的表达调控、转基因研究的进展,并对该蛋白的应用前景进行了展望.

     

    Abstract: Under abiotic stress conditions, many stress-related genes were induced in plants. Among them, SAPs (stress associated proteins) were studied extensively because of their abilities of stress tolerance. According to the researches in recent years, this review described the characteristics, classification, gene expression regulation and transgenic research of SAP proteins in plants. And in this paper,we discussed the research outlook and predicted the application prospect of SAP proteins.
