THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAP PROTEIN AND STRESS TOLERANCE IN PLANTS

Under abiotic stress conditions, many stress-related genes were induced in plants. Among them, SAPs (stress associated proteins) were studied extensively because of their abilities of stress tolerance. According to the researches in recent years, this review described the characteristics, classification, gene expression regulation and transgenic research of SAP proteins in plants. And in this paper，we discussed the research outlook and predicted the application prospect of SAP proteins.
