  • Plant simulation research background was introduced, and the current modeling methods and their characteristics were discussed. A new modeling method of plant simulation based on ontology and features synthesis reasoning is brought. Botany domain ontology is applied to plant modeling. The leaves of higher plants were used as examples to elaborate the process of this method.
