THE CORROSION INHIBITIVE ANANYSIS OF THE DERIVATIVE OF BENZOTRIAZOLE

The 1H-benzotriazole-1-methanol was synthesized through the reaction of benzotriazole and aldehyde. Its quality was investigated by weight loss method ,potentiodynamic polarization and alternate current impedance. It's proved that the inhibition efficiency was 90% by using this medicine in concentration of 10mg/L in 3%NaCl solution. The result showed that this medicine had better efficiency than BTA . The electro-chemical results indicated that the corrosion inhibitor inhibited cathode corrosion reactions .
