Preparation and Characterization of nanometer Cerium (Ce) doped ATO powder

Abstract
The Ce doped ATO (Sb doped SnO2) nanometer powder was prepared by self-propagating combustion. And the Ce-ATO powder was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and IR. Based on the results of those measurements, the effects of Cerium content, terminal pH, calcination temperature and time on crystal structure, particle size of Ce-ATO powder were systematically investigated. The Ce-ATO powder prepared at terminal pH of 7, calcination temperature of 600℃ for 2 hours and the Cerium content of 4% has better performance. The powder doped with Ce prepared in these conditions has the better crystal structure, the particle size of 18~22 nm and the resistance of the Ce-ATO nanopowder can reach 9.72 ?cm.
