  • The initial-boundary value problem for a class of fourth order nonlinear parabolic equation is investigated. Through the time discretization, the existence of approximate solutions is constructed and proved. By using uniform estimation on these approximate solutions combined with the compact principle, the global existence of weak solutions to the problem is established.
