Construction of Fosha "Digital Zumiao" Based on Virtual Reality Technology

Digital systems and virtual reality systems of the Digital Zumiao were build by using panoramic images and ultra-high-resolution images with high dynamic range rendering (HDR) technology on a platform of virtual reality technology. After planning, data collection, field measurement and analysis of images and text data, the plane and three-dimensional models, visual database, the physical space of the Digital Zumiao architecture was mapped in a virtual space. The construction of Digital Zumiao is a beneficial attempt for the application of virtual reality technology in ancient architecture protection. This work is a perfect combination of the 360 panorama shooting images and digital ultra-high resolution images based on the HDR technology.
