Synthesis and luminescence property of two isomers 2-vinyl-8-hydroxyquinoline zinc

Two isomers 2-vinylquinoline-8-hydroxyquinoline zinc containing quinoline have been designed and synthesized. The two isomers were identified by FTIR, MS spectra and elemental analyses. The thermal stability of two isomers indicate Tg at 204 ℃，228 ℃ respectively. Photoluminescence spectra show that the emission peaks of compound 3 and 4 are at 612 nm and 630 nm, chrysoidine and red -emitting light, respectively. Double-layer electroluminescent (EL) device is made with compound 4 and TPD by fabricated, with the electroluminescence emission peaks at 656 nm.
