Abstract
Abstract: A new nickel (II) complex Ni(DBTC)2, (DBTC = N, N - dibenzyldithio- -carbamate) was synthesized by solvo-thermal method and then has been characterized by X-ray single crystal structure, IR spectra and thermal analysis respectively. The complex belongs to triclinic system, space group P-1 with a=1.38642(2)nm, b =1.44455(2) nm, c=1.63620(3)nm, = 64.6210(10) , = 73.6440(10) , = 84.0460(10) , V =2.84030(8)nm3, Z = 2, Dc=1.411 g cm-3, = 1.000 mm-1, F(000)=1256 and final R1= 0.0590, wR2 = 0.1536. Each nickel(II) ion is situated in the centre of a plane-tetragon formed by four sulfur atoms from two bidentate dithiocarbamate ligands.
