The design & implementation of LCD Controller with 3-line MLA technique

  • A novel STN-LCD driving method by 3-line MLA addressing technique have been proposed in this paper, based on the 4-line MLA addressing technique. Using this novel driving method ,the SEG’s voltage of the driver IC is decreased from five level to two level by the inserted virtual line and virtual pixel. The matrix operation of the driver is also extremely simple in the proposed driving method.
