Urban ecological security assessment research of Meizhou City

Abstract: The paper has established ecological security assessment index system by employing pressure-state-response (PSR) concept model and constructed mathematical model by means of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on Meizhous evaluating indices system of urban eco-security, level of eco-security from 2003 to 2007 is evaluated, which indicates an upward trend in general: the eco -security rating from 2003 to 2006 is III, which means that it was in a warning state, and the eco -security rating in 2007 is II, in a quite secure state.
