AN IMPROVED MASS-SPRING CLOTH MODELING AND SIMULATION

  • The physical characteristics of stretch ability, shearing and surface roughness of cloth were analyzed in this paper. Based on the nonlinear characteristics between stress and deformation in the process of cloth tensile strain, the improved mass-spring cloth model was proposed. By the linearization of the elastic coefficients segmentally, the hyper-elastic problem in the simulation of cloth was avoided, and the reality of cloth simulation was improved.
