Abstract
In this work, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH550), the coupling agent of organic titanate of Tc-114, perfluorododecyltrichlorosilane (FDTS) and octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) were used to modify the surface of silicon oxide to achieve different surface wettability. The effect of different modifiers and amounts on surface wettability was evaluated by measuring the water droplet contact angle (CA) on the modified surface. Chemically modified surface properties were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR) and contact angle (CA). Experimental results show that the four agents can react with the hydroxyl groups on the silicon oxide surface and generate a series of silicon oxide materials, showing different surface wettability.
