Study on the Coupling Coordination Relationship between Transportation Superiority and Economic Performance——A Case Study of Guangdong Province

Taking 21 cities in Guangdong province as data sample, built the regional traffic advantage level model, conducted a quantitative analysis about Guangdong traffic superiority. 14 economic factors are taken into consideration with the principal component method to measure the chosen cities' economic development quality. An empirical research was made on transportation superiority of Guangdong province and coupling coordination development of regional economic development level by referring to physics coupling coordination degree model. It divides Guangdong province into five coordination types, and put forwards development countermeasures accordingly，which would provide beneficial reference for the improvement of transportation superiority and regional economy development in Guangdong province.
