纳米零价铁-双氧水协同提升甲硝唑矿化率的研究

Enhanced Mineralization of Metronidazole by Synergism of Hydrogen Peroxide and Nanoscale Zero-Valent Iron

  • 摘要: 尽管纳米零价铁(nZVI)能够有效地去除甲硝唑(MNZ),但是仍然存在矿化率低的问题. 本文,合成了纳米零价铁,研究了H2O2投加量对甲硝唑及其总有机碳(TOC)去除的影响. 结果表明,在nZVI和H2O2的共同作用下不仅可以进一步加速甲硝唑的去除速率,而且其TOC的去除率也明显提高.当双氧水投加量为0.55g/L,TOC的去除率为45.87%,约为单独纳米零价铁的18倍. 相同反应条件下,与传统芬顿法相比,nZVI/H2O2体系下甲硝唑及其TOC去除率,分别约为Fe2+/H2O2芬顿体系的1.5倍和7.1倍. 因而,双氧水与纳米零价铁协同作用,不仅进一步加速了纳米零价铁对甲硝唑去除速率,而且还有效地提高了有机物的矿化率.

     

    Abstract: Nanoscale zero valent iron (nZVI) could effectively remove of metronidazole (MNZ), however, the problem of low?mineralization?rate was still existence. In this study, nZVI was synthesized and the effect of H2O2 dosage on the removal of metronidazole and total organic carbon (TOC) were investigated. It was shown that the removal rate of metronidazole was further accelerated in the presence of both nZVI and H2O2, and the removal rate of TOC was obviously increased with the increase of H2O2 concentration. When the dosage of H2O2 was 0.55 g/L, the removal rate of TOC was 45.87%, which was nearly 18 times higher than that of nZVI alone. At the same time, the removal rate and the TOC removal rate of metronidazole in nZVI/H2O2 system were higher than those in the Fenton (Fe2+/H2O2 system), which were nearly 1.5 times and 7.1 times respectively. Therefore, The?synergism of hydrogen?peroxide and nanoscale zero-valent iron, not only strongly facilitating the removal rate of metronidazole, but also can effectively improve the mineralization rate of organic matter.
