Abstract:
The multiple tetraploid pengze crucian carp is the special individuals found in the offspring of pengze crucian carp stimulated by sea carp, Cyprinus acutidorsalis sperm. In this paper, eggs of The multiple tetraploid pengze crucian carp were artificial fertilized by the sperms from maternal parent (pengze crucian carp ) and paternal parent (sea carp), respectively. Two kinds of embryo FP and FS were used in the experiments. The patterns of expressions in five isozymes (LDH, MDH, ME,SOD and EST) were investigated in 10 embryogenetic stages of FP and FS , respectively , used by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The results showed that all the five isozymes detected in this paper did not show apparent differences between the two embryos, FP and FS. It is implied that the multiple tetraploid pengze crucian carp inherits the gynogenetic reproductive mode of its maternal parent.
