Abstract: Two methods of solving two boundary value problems have been generalized to more precision by Richardson extrapolation, which are the classical second-order central difference scheme and high-accuracy difference scheme. By a numerical example, a rapid solving method is proposed by using Excel spreadsheet software. The results showed that the use of the familiar Excel software can quickly get the satisfactory results.
