Abstract:
Efficient white light emission has been realized by employing PFO-DBT15/PFO-BT35 copolymer blends as fluorescent conversion of InGaN-based blue light-emitting diode (LED) under the optimized blend weight ratio. Where PFO-DBT15 is a red copolymer from 9,9-dioctylfluorene (DOF) and 4,7-di-2-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (DBT) (DOF:DBT=85:15) while PFO-BT35 is a green copolymer from 9,9-dioctylfluorene (DOF) and 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (BT) (DOF:BT=65:35). For the copolymer blend/inorganic hybrid white device, the Commission International de L'?clairage (CIE) coordinates, color temperature (Tc) and color rending index (Ra) at 20 mA are (0.34, 0.32), 6798 K and 85, respectively.
