Abstract:
Grubea sinensis sp. nov.(family Mazocraeidae, subfamily Grubeinae) is described from the gills of the Pneumatophorus japonicus (Houttuyn) collected from Huizhou, Gangdong Province. The new species significantly differs from G. cochlear Diesing,1958 and G. australis Rohde,1986, in that the SPS of its large clamp is curved ahead to clip SAP,but those of latter are flat. There are other differences in the number of small genital hooks, the shape of opisthaptor the direction of opisthaptor. This is the first record of Grubeinae and Grubea in China.
