Abstract:
A new mass imaging technique for biological tissues using laser desorption postionization mass spectrometry is proposed. This technique does not require multiple sample preparation and avoids the spectra interferences which increases the accuracy and efficiency of the experiments, moreover, this method can adjust the delay time between the desorption laser and the ionization laser, this will help us get the best mass spectra and images with a resolution of 100 m and a limit of 0.1 pmol. All the results show that this new imaging technique is promising in the areas of clinical medicine and medicinal development in the future.
