Abstract:
In this talk, we present our recent studies on newly discovered polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) superconductors including alkali-metal-doped picene (C22H14), coronene (C24H12), phenanthrene (C14H10), and dibenzopentacene (C30H18). To address issues on their structures and superconductivity, we carry out extensive numerical and experimental investigations on their magnetic and superconducting properties as functions of doing and pressure. We will also discuss other superconducting candidates.
