Abstract:
The expression of the power spectrum of the turbulence in the fractal dimension is derived based on the statistical self-similarity of the turbulence, which explores the relationship between the randomicity and the regularity of the turbulence.Based on this, a novel method evaluating the power spectrum by the fractal dimension is investigated; also the power spectrum of a 2-inch waterway turbulence is analyzed.By comparing the result with the data obtained from the existing experiments, it is shown that the method is feasible and has its advantage.
