Abstract:
The electrophoretic display has characteristics of ultra-low power consumption and excellent paper-like display effect, and is widely used in the modern display. It occupies an important position in the development of national economy. The driving waveform of the electrophoretic display plays a decisive role for a good display effect, and the driving waveform algorithms optimization is of great significance for improving electrophoretic display effect. In this paper, the display principle of electrophoretic electronic paper is introduced. Current technologies of driving waveform for electrophoretic display are summarized. Technical problems in the driving waveform are proposed, and the development prospect of electronic paper is also discussed.
