Abstract:
Sn-Co/C composite material was prepared by carbonization reduction process firstly, then the composite was treated by high energy ball milling. The structural, morphological features, and electrochemical properties of the Sn-Co/C composite were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction,SEM,AC impedance analysis. The experimental results revealed that after ball milling, the morphological of the Sn-Co/C composite became amorphous. In first cycle, the Sn-Co/C composite electrode showed a large discharge capacity of 1098.9 mAhg-1, and a large charge capacity of 771.3mAhg-1,and showed high capacity 425.1 mAhg-1 after 40 cycles. The modified Sn-Co/C showed higher lithium-ion diffusion coefficient, which will help improve the electrochemical properties of the alloy material.
