Abstract:
Abstract: Hydroxyl acrylate resins were synthesized with BPO and AIBN as initiator at different mass fraction (2.5%and 8%) and modified with acrylate epoxy resin. The resins were cured with methyl etherified melamine formaldehyde resin. DSC of the curing reaction indicated that the curing temperature was mediate. The molecular weights, viscosity of the synthesized resins were characterized and the mechanical, anti-chemical and thermal stability performances of the curing films were tested. It was found and studied that the resin's molecule weight and viscosity rose when the concentration of BPO increased to a high concentration. The cured films of modified resins had very good mechanical performances and its acid resistance was raised notably. Also, its thermal stability was raised to some extent.
