Abstract:
A series of PDMA/PVA polymers with different compositions were synthesized through emulsion polymerization and charactersized by thermal behaviors, water vapor permeability and degradating diethyl chlorophosphate (DCP) in this work, respectively. The water vapor permeability of these PDMA/PVA polymers increases first and then decreases with the increasing of content of PVA. PVA-30 membrane shows the highest permeation in the as-synthesized polymers. Moreover, the results of DCP degradation for these membranes indicate the content of PVA in the resulting polymers has slight effect on the degradation ability.
