基于双二进制编码的单工光通信系统设计及其仿真模拟

  • 摘要: 模拟仿真了一种新型编码的光通信系统,系统采用了双二进制码(DB Duo-binary)电信号作为调制信号,激光脉冲作为载波信号,用非相干外调制技术作为调制方式.软件模拟仿真结果显示,采用双二进制调制编码的光通信系统,光源发射功率为5dBm,途中无光放大,在色散系数为17ps/nm/km,衰减系数为0.2 dB /km的单模光纤中,系统码元传输速率可达20Gbit/s、传输距离20km以上.采用双二进制编码技术的光通信系统比传统的光通信系统具有更大的传输容量、较低的误码率, 并且在一定程度抑制了色散效应.

     

    Abstract: We design and simulation a novel simplex optical communication system based on duo-binary code. Electrical-optical intensity modulation and duo-binary were adopted in the system. The results of software simulation showed that the single direction 20Gbit/s data was successfully transmitted over 20km SMF with = 5dBm power penalty, dispersion =17ps/nm/km, attenuation=0.2dB/km in the system. It has larger transmission capacity, lower BER and better transmission chromatic dispersion allowance than the common one.
