Progress in printed electrofluidic displays technology

  • 摘要: 印刷技术是低成本、大面积显示制程理想选择,也是全球显示制造产业的重要突破方向。电润湿显示像素结构简单且主要依赖湿法制程工艺,是印刷显示技术应用的极佳载体。本文围绕印刷电润湿显示技术涉及的关键像素结构材料及其印刷制程工艺等进行简要综述,重点讨论了电润湿显示油墨印刷填充的多种工艺路径,归纳了当下印刷电润湿显示技术面临的挑战,展望了可能的解决路径和发展方向。

     

    Abstract: Printing technology is a promising approach for low-cost, large scale display processing, and also an important direction need breakthrough for the global display manufacturing industry. Electrofluidic display with simple pixel structure reply on wet processing is an ideal candidate for printed displays. With the aim of printed electrofluidic displays, the key materials and the corresponding printing technologies are reviewed in this paper. Various oil filling approaches for electrofluidic display processing are discussed in depth. The challenges of printed electrofluidic displays are summarized. Finally, we point out the possible solutions and research directions to address these issues.
