Abstract:
Bovine serum albumin V(BSA) was used as the carrier to prepare arbutin(Arb)-loaded nanoparticles (Arb-BSA-NP)with the desolvation method and the curative effect of Arb-BSA-NP on rat burn injury was studied. The particle size distribution and Zeta potential analysis were performed to characterize Arb-BSA-NP, and the results showed that the average particle size of Arb-BSA-NP was 175.26±11.04 nm and the average Zeta potential was -29.12±0.80 mV, which suggested that Arb-BSA-NP had a uniform particle size and good stability after 12 h of glutaraldehyde crosslinking under the conditions of pH7.0 and the ratio of arbutin to albumin was 1 : 10. Cellulose membrane was then immersed into the solution containing Arb-BSA-NPs, and the nanoparticles were precipitated onto the surface to form Arb-BSA-BC, which were manifested with the SEM analysis. The curative effect of Arb-BSA-BC on rat burn injury was attested with the burn repair experiment. It was proved that Arb-BSA-BC contributed to the repair and healing of burn injury.
