Abstract:
A new alkaline fluorescence probe, 7nitrobenzoxadiazoltryptophan, was synthesized. The experiment results indicated that when the pH value rose from 7.94 to 12.24, the UVvis spectrum of the probe in aqueous solution changed obviously. The absorption peak of 480 nm quenched, meanwhile a new absorption peak appeared at 390 nm, and the color changed from orangered to yellow. The intensity of fluorescent peak dropped gradually, which indicated that it was an evident quenching phenomenon. The probe had obvious optical response in alkaline condition.
